Mountain Home Inspection, Inc. is owned and operated by Matt Kozusko, a 20-year resident of the Vail Valley. With over 15 years of experience in leadership positions in Colorado and Florida resorts having responsibility for various extensive property renovations, Matt formed Mountain Home Inspection to provide reliable, objective and thorough service to future homeowners.

Mountain Home Inspection is fully insured, carrying Professional Liability and General Liability Insurance. Professional Liability policy covers Errors and Omissions and referrals. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied, you don't pay.

Early on Matt was involved in building and the service industry. He started with summer jobs in commercial renovation and was involved in a variety of different projects over the years in general construction, hotel renovations and even pouring concrete foundations. Matt holds a Bachelors of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State University. He completed the Home Inspection Training at ITA, Inspection Training Associates - the preeminent home inspection training school in North America and is committed to continuing his education. Matt’s unique background makes him particularly attuned to understanding building and understanding his client’s specific needs.

Matt serves as President of the Edwards Rotary Club and President of his homeowners’ association. He is also a Gold affiliate of the Vail Board of Realtors.

Matt enjoys home renovation projects and spending time with his family – enjoying all of the mountain activities, and especially appreciating our special community.
